HOW THE GUARDIAN ANGEL SAVED ME

HOW THE GUARDIAN ANGEL SAVED ME!
What a day, what a day! A dramatic miracle! A miraculous drama! Whatever you may choose to call it.
Friday 9, November 11 is a day I will never forget. At least, for as long as I may live. This is a day a vehicle right behind me hit a vehicle right before me and me escaping unscathed.
At about 14h15 I had just done three quick things: Deposited money at the bank; bought a lip balm at Hartswater pharmacy and bought fresh milk on my way out of town. Needless to say it had been raining for sometimes, and it was still drizzling. So, you would expect any dude behind the steering wheel to be both considerate and cautious. But, it was not to be. As the traffic approached the nursery on the left, there were at least six vehicles in front of me and the driver in front was indicating that he was off ramping to the right. So everybody behind had to literally stop until it was clear for him to turn right.
At that moment, I took a cursory look at my rear mirror and noticed that the vehicle behind me was approaching at a rather unusual speed. At that point, we had all reeled to a dead halt. I smelled a rat.
The distance between me and the vehicle in front was less than two meters. And noticing that he was about to hit my vehicle from behind, the driver behind me decided to swerve quickly to the right just in time to avoid impact. But at that point he realized that there was oncoming traffic and made a swift dash to the left to squeeze between me and the vehicle in front.
In a split second, his bull bar proofed pick up smashed the sedan in front of me. They both lost control and his pick up was immediately cushioned by one oncoming vehicle as he stopped right across the road between me and the vehicle in front. Not fatal, but quite a dramatic encounter of a human error.
A minute later, I found myself whispering: “Thank You Lord, for the Guardian Angel”
How I escaped that accident remains an inexplicable miracle. But one thing I do know for sure is, I neither did anything to cause nor did I do anything to survive that accident. “THANK YOU LORD, FOR YOUR MERCY!”
